We met the Lord Mayor of Birmingham!

Excitedly standing in the German Market outside, waiting to go in...

The door...

 There have been many Mayor and Lord Mayors before him! Do you know the difference between a Mayor and a Lord Mayor? We do now!

Finally he arrived!

 Then he took us to the Chamber...

 We sat in his chair and allowed us to ring his bell, shouting, "Order!"

After that, we chatted in his Parlour.

 He kindly let us try on his chain. It was very heavy.

Finally, we all sat and had a drink whilst asking him questions. He shared a very interesting story about a lost diamond...

What a wonderful man!
